Cebu, Davao, and Masbate Relief Operations Report
Over the past days, our team traveled across Cebu, Davao, and Masbate to bring food and hope to families still recovering from the recent earthquake and the impact of Typhoon Ompong. It was a tiring stretch: long boat rides, rough roads, heat, and little rest. But every moment was meaningful.
We saw homes still cracked, families still rebuilding, and children whose eyes lit up the moment they saw food packs and Bibles in hand. Many told us they hadn’t expected help anymore. Some quietly wiped tears as our team prayed with them. These are scenes we can never forget. They remind us why we go, why we keep moving, and why generosity matters.
Through your partnership, we were able to distribute food boxes, water, rice, canned goods, essentials, and Scripture. Each box carried more than supplies; it carried a reminder that God sees and cares for them. Thank you for standing with us. Whether you prayed, gave, or shared the word, you were part of this work.
We may be tired, but our hearts are full. We head home grateful to serve, grateful for every family reached, and grateful for a community that chooses to respond when others have moved on.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
On behalf of everyone who received help: thank you. May God bless you for choosing to care and to give. The need is great, but the work continues… one family, one prayer, one act of kindness at a time.
