Back to School 2026: School Kit Distribution in Catmon, Malabon
Our first distribution stop for Back to School 2026 brought us to Catmon, Malabon and the response from the community reminded us, again, why this work matters.
By the time we arrived in Catmon, the kits had already traveled through weeks of planning, sourcing, and repacking. But it’s the distribution day that makes it real, when a stack of supplies becomes a tool in a child’s hands.
On the Ground
Our volunteers set up early, organized the flow of families, and got to work distributing kits to students.
There was a rhythm to it — names called, kits handed over, a quick word of encouragement, and a family walking away just a little lighter. It’s repetitive work in the best way. Every repeated handoff is another child stepping into the school year better equipped than before.
Why Catmon
Catmon, Malabon is home to many families navigating real financial pressure, and access to basic school supplies isn’t guaranteed for every household here. Joseph Feeding Mission Outreach Foundation chose this community because the need is consistent, and because we believe in showing up where we’re needed, not just where it’s convenient.
Made Possible By You
None of this happens without people choosing to give… time, resources, or both. Every volunteer who packed a kit, every donor who funded a notebook or a box of crayons, played a part in this outcome reaching Catmon. Thank you for continuing to make this mission possible.
