Typhoon Ulysses Relief: Brgy. San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal
One week after typhoon Ulysses caused floods that submerged houses in this village, the water is still knee high in some areas. Enormous amounts of garbage and damaged furniture line the sides of streets, and its residents are busy sweeping out mud from their houses. With their income sources disrupted and their repair bills up high, what once was an easy trip to buy groceries had now become a difficult task.
But by providing for our kababayans basic food, water, diapers for toddlers, and Bibles, their burdens are eased and their spirits are encouraged as they rise and recover during these trying times.
